Orange Coffee


Orange and Honey Coffee

  • 1/2 cup ground coffee
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange zest
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 6 cups cold water

Place coffee and orange zest in coffee maker. Put the honey into the empty pot of coffee maker. Add water to coffee maker and brew. When brewing is complete, stir until well blended.

La Orange Coffee

  • 1 tablespoons finely chopped semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1 teaspoons orange-flavored liqueur
  • 3/4 cup hot freshly brewed coffee
  • 1 tablespoons thawed whipped topping

Add chocolate and liqueur to the hot coffee and stir until chocolate is completely melted. Top with the whipped topping and for something extra garnish with grated orange peel.

Cinnamon-Orange Iced Coffee

  • 1/2 cup instant coffee
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 6 orange zest strips
  • 1/2 teaspoons ground allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 8 cups boiling water

Mix all ingredients except boiling water in medium bowl. Add boiling water and stir until coffee granules are completely dissolved and mixture is well blended. Refrigerate for  several hours or until chilled. Serve over ice cubes in 8 tall glasses.

Zesty Orange Coffee

  • 2 tablespoons naturally decaffeinated instant coffee
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange zest
  • 1/4 cup granular sweetener
  • 1/8 teaspoons ground ginger (optional)
  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 1/4 cup  thawed whipped topping

Place coffee granules, orange zest, granular sweetener, ginger and water in large measuring cup and stir until coffee is dissolved and mixture is well blended. Pour evenly into 4 mugs or coffee cups. Top each serving with 1 tablespoons of the whipped topping.
For a lemon flavored coffee substitute 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel for the orange peel.

Coffee L'Orange

  • 3/4 cup coffee
  • 1 tablespoons grated orange zest
  • 1/3 cup chocolate syrup
  • 4-1/2 cups water
  • 3/4 cup thawed whipped topping
  • ground nutmeg (optional)

Place ground coffee in the coffee maker, sprinkle with orange zest. Place chocolate topping in the empty pot of coffee maker. Brew the coffee. When brewing is complete, stir until well blended. Top each serving with whipped topping, sprinkle lightly with nutmeg.

Spiced Orange Coffee

  • 1/2 cup ground coffee, any variety
  • 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 6 cups cold water
  • 1 tablespoons grated orange peel
  • 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Place coffee in the coffee maker, add 1 tablespoons grated orange peel and 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon. Place sugar in the empty pot of coffee maker. Brew the coffee mixture. Refrigerate until chilled. Serve as a cold beverage over ice cubes.

Spiced Orange Coffee

  • 1/2 cup ground coffee, any variety
  • 1 tablespoons grated orange zest
  • 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup  firmly packed brown sugar
  • 6 cups cold water
  • 1 cup thawed whipped topping

Place coffee, orange zest and cinnamon in the coffee maker. Place brown sugar in the empty pot of coffee maker. Brew the coffee. When brewing is complete, stir until well blended. Put into 8 large mugs and top each with 2 tablespoons of the whipped topping.
For a cool variation refrigerate several hours or until chilled. Serve over ice cubes.

Orange Mocha

  • 3/4 cup scalded milk
  • 4 teaspoons Dark Mayan Chocolate Latte
  • 1/4 teaspoons orange extract
  • 2 tablespoons thawed whipped topping

Add milk gradually to flavored coffee mix in a mug, stirring until dissolved. Stir in the orange extract. Top with whipped topping and serve immediately. You can garnish it with orange zest or a candied orange slice just before serving.

Orange Créme "Whipaccino"

  • 3/4 cup cold water
  • 4 teaspoons Orange Spice Latte
  • 1/2 cup orange sherbet and vanilla swirl ice cream

Blend all ingredients in blender until well blended. Serve immediately. For a creamy effect substitute milk for the water.

Orange Dream

  • 3/4 cup scalded milk
  • 2 teaspoons Orange Spice Latte
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Creme
  • 1/4 teaspoons orange extract
  • 1 tablespoons thawed whipped topping

Add milk gradually to flavored drink mixes in a mug and stirring until dissolved. Stir in the orange extract and whipped topping until well blended. Serve immediately. Garnish with an orange slice just before serving.

Lemon Cafe

A tangy and unusual blend of coffee and lemons. Orange isn't the only citrus that goes well with coffee. Lemon is particularly crisp for an iced coffee.

  • 1/4 cup coffee
  • 2 oz. lemon sherbet
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Combine everything and blend until smooth. Serve in a chilled glass.
