Coffee Eggnog


Eggnog Coffee

  • 1/4 cup ground coffee, any variety
  • 1/4 teaspoons ground nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2-1/2 cups cold water
  • 1 cup eggnog, warmed
  • 1/2 cup  thawed whipped topping

Place coffee in the coffee maker, sprinkle with nutmeg. Place sugar in the empty pot of coffee maker. Brew the coffee. When brewing is complete, stir in eggnog. Pour into 4 cups, top with whipped topping and serve.

Cold Coffee Nog

If you love egg nog, then this coffee-variety should be perfect for you. There's plenty of coffee too, not just a hint. Be aware there are raw eggs in this recipe.

  • 4 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 pint milk, cold
  • 1 pint coffee, cold
  • nutmeg to serve

Beat eggs and sugar together, then whisk in coffee and milk. Serve in eggnog in chilled glasses with a sprinkling of nutmeg. Serves 4.

Quick Eggnog Coffee

  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 4 teaspoons French Vanilla Café
  • 1/2 cup hot eggnog or milk
  • ground nutmeg for serving

Stir 1/2 cup boiling water with 4 teaspoons French Vanilla Café in a coffee cup or mug. Stir in 1/2 cup hot eggnog or milk. Sprinkle with ground nutmeg, if desired. For variation, prepare using low-fat eggnog and whipped topping.

Creamy Coffee Eggnog

  • 4 cups freshly brewed coffee, cooled
  • 4 cups eggnog
  • 8 oz. whipped topping, thawed, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoons  ground cinnamon
  • ground nutmeg

Beat coffee, eggnog, 3 cups of the whipped topping and the cinnamon in large a bowl with a wire whisk until well blended. Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until ready to serve. Serve topped with the remaining whipped topping. Sprinkle lightly with nutmeg. Store leftover eggnog in refrigerator. For something extra stir in 1 cup rum before chilling.
